Deputy Relationship Manager

£41,568-£46,170 plus benefits

Over the next five years, SIS will be implementing a range of programmes and projects that will transform the way we operate as an organisation.  The implications of this work are significant, as they will allow us to continue to counter the ever-changing threats this country faces to its security and prosperity.

If you come from a technical sales background this is a rare opportunity to move client side and into a unique role.  It will see you supporting the development of innovative ideas that will help the Service drive change and achieve its organisational objectives.  Relationship management lies at the heart of this position and you'll work closely with key ICT suppliers to build strategic partnerships and drive forward specialised technology projects.  Combining a knowledge of sales techniques and analysis tools with a passion for using IT in imaginative ways to deliver strategic objectives, you'll ensure that we're getting the most from our suppliers.

Working in a small team, you'll take great pride in managing relationships with a range of companies, including industry leaders.  Delivering new product-based developments, collaborative ventures and Business as Usual activities, you'll use your experience of maximising working relationships to create measurable business benefits for SIS.  It's a role that's all about motivating people, and building a partnering pattern of working within SIS as well as with our suppliers.

You will know how to focus your activities on bringing business benefit and high-quality services to an organisation.  Results-driven and full of initiative, you can play an important role at SIS.
