'VIRTUAL ADMINISTRATOR' - TEXT VERSION

TASK 1 - COMMUNICATION

You'll need to be able to write in a clear style - and have a good grasp of grammar and spelling. Look through the following passage and click on the errors (there are 8). It's not about changing style - just picking out actual errors.

Begins

'I was very intrigued when I saw the advert for MI6 in the paper. I really liked the idea of using my administrative skills to do something worthwhile. It doesn't get much more worthwhile than helping keep the people in your country safe, does it.

Having said that, I must admit that I did think long and hard. Before I applied. After all, you are undertaking to keep your work life private from everyone but your very closest family. I was also a bit worried that the whole atmosphere here would be very serious and heavy. However, I've found that everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Their's a real feeling of camaraderie and plenty of opportunities to socialise with your colleagues, to. we even have a cafe on sight.

Of course, many of the tasks you do, like filing and filing in spreadsheets, are the same as in anyother administration role. The subject matters much more interesting, though.'
