Working for the Secret Intelligence Service in IT is a fascinating and stimulating proposition. Based in London, it’s a rare chance to join an organisation that exists to collect secret foreign intelligence - allowing the UK Government to counter threats to this country that include terrorism, weapons proliferation and drug trafficking.

You’ll join either our Systems Development or Information Delivery stream, developing the skills and experience you need to work in a variety of technically challenging environments — roles include design & development, integration, support and ITIL management.

This is a very varied, fascinating IT career with outstanding ongoing training and the chance to have an impact that’s far-reaching.

The people you will work with — both inside and outside the department — will be of the very highest calibre. The projects will be visible and will make a tangible difference to SIS.
