As an Artworker at MI6, your expertise is invaluable. Join us, and you'll drive forward a varied range of projects, as well as having the chance to work overseas. Above all, you'll have the opportunity to play your part in protecting the security of the UK.

The Artworker role

Working with customers throughout MI6, you'll take on a range of graphic design and print projects. Whether you're working on a pure design piece, or developing a complex production concept, you'll always deliver ideas that meet the needs of your perfectly.

As well as creating print and pre-press artwork, you'll manage projects, research materials, and liaise with external industry contacts to help deliver the best end products. Creative and resourceful, you can come up with new  ways of doing things, as well as making sure projects deliver on time. Your work will mainly be based in London, but the role will also involve you travelling overseas as part of a team.

The skills you'll need

You'll need strong CS5 Creative Suite skills, and being fully conversant with PC and Mac goes without saying. You are also experienced in using Illustrator and Photoshop and quick to pick up new skills - we have a range of in-house packages you'll need to master. Strong drawing skills are also important.

Your impressive portfolio proves both your technical and your design abilities. With your 'can-do' attitude, customer focused approach and flexibility, you will fit well into our close-knit team. You never miss a deadline, and are constantly looking for new and better ways of doing things. You're also excellent at presenting and explaining your ideas.
