Join MI6 and use your Application Analyst skills in an IT field to support an organisation tht protects the security of the UK.

The Application Management Group delivers 2nd/3rd line technical support for a diverse portfolio of software applications. We are looking for customer focussed, professional support specialists to work as part of this team supporting vital UK government systems protecting UK interests at home and abroad. 


If you want to work in an environment where you will be rewarded for your problem solving abilities and you take responsibility for getting crucial systems back on line and where you like being busy, we would be interested in talking to you. You will need to be able to stay calm in a crisis situation and find satisfaction in completing tasks on time and to a given standard.

As part of a customer focussed team, there are opportunities to cross train on many systems and learn some of the most exciting systems at the forefront of the intelligence gathering world.  We invest time and effort in training our support analysts and you will benefit from learning both on the job and on structured courses.

These roles have some flexibility in working hours.

Skills and Qualifications

You will need to be an IT graduate with a BSc (Hons), HND or HNC level qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role.  You will need demonstratable experience of software development or support in some of the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Certified Support Engineer would be desirable
