17 May 2016 – MI6 proud to support the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT Day)

MI6 are proud to show their support for IDAHOT Day by flying the rainbow flag from our building at Vauxhall Cross. This small but significant gesture demonstrates the commitment of MI6 to having a workforce that truly reflects the nation it serves regardless of sexual orientation.

We recognise that diverse teams perform better, are more creative and innovative and deliver more robust solutions to the multitude of challenges we face today.

As ‘C’, the chief of MI6 has said previously: “As a Service we have a responsibility to enable all staff to flourish and demonstrate their full potential and I am incredibly proud to be leading a much more diverse Service than the one I joined.
